TigoMeNote is for real people and their families. These rules apply to posts, statuses, comments, profiles, names and bios. Breaking them can lead to removal, strikes, or suspension.
Not allowed
Violence and threats
No threats of any kind, whether serious or "just joking": no saying you will hurt, kill, shoot, burn or find someone, no threatening someone's family or home, and no "I know where you live". No encouraging violence or attacks, no graphic gore, and no celebrating violent events or the people who committed them.
Nudity and sexual content
No nudity, pornography, sexual acts, or offers or requests for sexual content or services.
Child safety
Zero tolerance. No sexual content involving anyone under 18, no sexualising children, and no contacting minors for sexual purposes. Such content is removed, the account is suspended, and the matter may be reported to the authorities.
Illegal firearms and weapons
No buying, selling, trading or giving away of firearms, ammunition, parts or explosives; no homemade or unregistered guns; no instructions to make weapons or convert them. Showing weapons to threaten or intimidate is also not allowed.
Drugs (including marijuana) and other crime
No selling, buying, offering or promoting illegal drugs, including marijuana and shabu, and no posts encouraging people to use them. No fake documents or money, no stolen goods, no fraud or scams, no hacking services, no human trafficking, and no planning or bragging about crimes.
Bullying, harassment and hate
No bullying, humiliating, or repeatedly contacting someone who doesn't want it. No attacks on people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or illness.
Suicide and self-harm
No encouraging suicide or self-harm, and no telling anyone to hurt themselves. If you or a friend is struggling, please reach out to someone you trust or local emergency services.
Protecting teens
Teen accounts (13–17) are private, and teens cannot share phone numbers, emails, addresses or other chat apps in posts, comments or their bio. Never ask a teen for personal details, photos, or to talk somewhere private. Adults who try to contact teens in a sexual or secretive way are removed and may be reported to the authorities.
Privacy and safety
Do not share other people's private information (address, phone, location, ID) or photos of them without permission. Never use Locate to follow someone who didn't agree.
Spam and fake accounts
No spam, misleading links, fake giveaways, or pretending to be someone else.
How we enforce these rules
- Automatic filter, in the app and on our server. Captions, comments, statuses, names and bios are checked while you type and again when you post. Clear violations (for example selling guns or drugs, marijuana, threats, pornography) are blocked and cannot be posted, even when written with symbols, spaces or backwards. Borderline words are sent to an admin to review.
- Reports. Anyone can report a post, comment, status or account using Report (in the post's ⋯ menu, when you open a post, on a status, or on a profile). Reports are private.
- Hidden while reviewed. Content reported by 3 or more people, or reported for child safety, is hidden from others until an admin decides.
- Decisions. An admin may dismiss the report, hide or delete the content, give a strike, or suspend the account.
Photos and videos are reviewed through reports. Automatic image detection may be added later.
In an emergency
If someone is in immediate danger, call 999 (Bahrain) or 911 (Philippines) first, then use SOS or Report.
